Theyare engrossedon online games,chattingwith otherpeopleon socialmediaplatformsandupdatingtheir profileson Facebook.Theywould ratherchatandinteractwith friendson their personalcomputersinsteadof play.Consequently kidsstartadoptinga sedentarylifestyle at a verytenderage.Thishas beenthemainfactorbehind theincreasedprevalenceof obesity andoverweight in America. Additionally, lackof physicalactivityhas beenlinkedwith theincreasedrateof Type 2diabetesin children.Childrenneedto interactwith otherpeoplesothattheycan buildsocialskillsandlearnabout theuniverse.
