The Forever Seat
In mylife, the personwhoinspiredme is my father. In childhood, heoftentookmybrotherandI to travelby rail, butheoftencould not buysuitabletickets.Butwhether onlongorshorttrip, healwayscould findseatsforus. His methodwasverysimplehe waspatientto findseatsin thecoaches.Everytime, hewasreadyto walkfrom thefirstcarriageto thelastcarriage, buthecould findseatswhichwerenot behind thelastcarriage.Thiswas becausemostpeopledid not like hispersistence. Heargued that, mostpassengerswereeasily confusedby thephenomenonof thesurfaceof thecarriages. There were plentyof seatsat eachstop, but passengerslacked patience. Somepeoplewereveryeasyto satisfy, andtheythoughtthattheydidnot deserveto findseatsin thecrowdedspace.Otherpeoplefearedthattheycould not findseatsandloststandingplace. My fathertoldus: “They are complacent, lazy, fearof failure, andtheycan onlyeverbe stranded at thestartingpointwithout success.”
At thattime,Icould not understandhim, untilhetoldmethetruththat I understood. Althoughthisis onlya shortstory, ithas beenableto affectme. When I became an adult,Ihadlessandlesstimeto travelwith my father, butas longas there wereholidays,I choseto travelby trainwith my dad, andwe foundseatstogether.Iknowmy fatherwantme to be a wise person, who does not giveup easily.Asmyfather’swish,I havealways triedto be patient. My fatheralways wantedmeto studyabroad, butmy spokenEnglish usedto be verypoor, andI wasafraidto learnEnglish. IthoughtI could nevermakeanyprogressin it.Myfatherconstantlyencouragedme andsuggestedthat,I should readaloudeveryday.Butinthebeginning,Icould hardlygoon. There weretoomanynewwords.Ididn`twantto studyEnglish anymore.Justthen,my father’svoicetoldme, "Never giveup, comeon!”Then I persistedin readingaloudforhalfan houreveryday.Consequently, my skills inEnglish have improved alot.Ihavebeenstudyingabroadforone year now.In addition,Iam verygladthatI didnot giveup theideato studyabroad.Ienjoystudyingabout lifeas it allowsme tolearnmoreandstudyEnglish, aswell.Iamthankful tomy fatherfor teachingme the virtue of patience,as it enables me strive toachievemy goals.

We should learn that, “Wherethere is a will, there is away”.Nevergiveup andyouwill neverlosetheopportunityto succeed.Failure is themotherof success.Donot, forone repulse, forgetthepurposethatyouresolvedto effort.
